Project description
Mardie Salt project is a high-grade salt and sulphate of potash project being developed at approximately 80km from Karratha in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The project is expected to produce four million tonnes per annum of salt and 100,000tpa of SOP from seawater through its operational life of 60 years. The project will concentrate seawater through solar and wind evaporation to sustainably produce high-purity sodium chloride salt and sulphate of potash.
Scope of work packages
Construct of a 400-person village, Install package of site compounds domes and mechanic workshops, Construct of pump transfer station 2-3 and 3-4, Construct of electrical station 2-3 and 3-4, Construct of gas pipe line crossover, Supply of concrete, N/class and S/class concrete site wide and concrete pumping, Supply of Labour and plant from our hire divisions.
During the duration of the project, our team was involved in a range of key tasks. This included the construction of a 400-person village, installation of site compounds, domes, and mechanic workshops. Additionally, we oversaw the construction of pump transfer stations 2-3 and 3-4, electrical stations 2-3 and 3-4, and a gas pipeline crossover. Our responsibilities also encompassed the supply of concrete (N/class and S/class) site-wide, including concrete pumping services, as well as providing labor and plant from our hire divisions.


Koodaideri Project

Project Description: Gudal-Darri (Koodaideri ) iron ore mine, located 110 kilometers from the town of Newman and around 35 kilometers north-west of Rio Tinto's Yandicoogina mine in Western Australia's Pilbara region, is a major project by Rio Tinto. With significant reserves of 598Mt at 61.9% iron content, the mine is poised to become one of the region's largest. Creating 2,000 construction jobs and 600 operational roles. This open-cut project promises substantial economic growth and employment opportunities for the region.
Scope of work packages
Over four years on site, OSB contributed to various work packages, commencing with the construction of a 2000-person construction village and water treatment plant. This led to involvement in civil and structural works, encompassing bulk and detailed earthworks for roads, dams, and carparks. Activities included culvert installations, drainage systems, services provision, compound facility construction, dome structure erection, workshops establishment, and NPI works. Additionally, OSB collaborated with multiple contractors, supplying them with labor and equipment from our hire divisions.





Talison Litium

Project description
Talison Lithium's Greenbushes project in Western Australia is a leading lithium mining and processing operation. With a rich history dating back to 1983, it boasts one of the world's largest and highest-grade lithium deposits. Utilizing traditional mining methods and advanced processing techniques, the site produces technical and chemical grade lithium concentrates for global markets. It produces around 350,000 tonnes of lithium yearly. Recent expansions, including the commissioning of a second chemical grade lithium plant in 2019, demonstrate Talison's commitment to meeting growing demand sustainably.
Scope of work packages
Construction of a 500-person construction village involving detailed earthworks and reinforced concrete works.
